Funky junk sisters 2013 sale review.

The question people ask is, did you do good?  Tricky answer. Let me try to clarify.
I loved the sale part. It was totally fun with great vendors to work with like sally with This 2 That. I hope to
join her for a sale sometime. Maybe she will come down since her product would sell really great down here. we had some fabulous customers like Debbie from haystack antiques in Bellevue. O there were others like the lady who loved my milk glass bowl for $4 that she gave me $5 and a hug. The memories and the laughs were worth it. Crystal my partner in this sale was a riot!! She's PG tho and this was hard on her, well me to for that matter. Exhausted was an understatement as we plastered on the smiles and the hellos more than ever before. Hauling furniture and standing most of the time left us nearly in a coma afterwards. But we still laughed and had a blast!
The money wasn't worth doing this sale since we had gas, hotel, and a large booth fee. But for the contacts it was huge and for the fun, it was the best. Seriously I really want to do another because it was so fun. But I won't.
Some vendors didn't even make their rent. The prices there are a glorified garage sale. And most people were buying small things. But we did sell out of our little furniture pieces and a bed, just not the big pieces. We actually had so little stuff left we were amazed at the end of the day. Chalk boards with cool frames were big salers and that funky turquoise blue was big too.
If you like shabby, funky, or vintage this is a fun sale to shop at. I found a beautiful crystal light for my kitchen but that was it.
Any question?
